Overview

Content is a key part of our user experience, and that doesn’t just mean button labels and error messages. It also includes crafting user narratives, prioritizing information using headers and page layout, and yes, using clear and purposeful language to communicate with our users.

In this guide, you’ll find information about how we approach content here at Workday, and how you can use that approach to help you make decisions about content in Workday. This guide is organized into 2 main sections: Content Design and Grammar and Language Style.

What’s in This Guide

  • Content Design: Learn about content design, Workday’s voice and tone, and access a variety of content resources.
  • Grammar and Language Style: Understand how Workday approaches issues like capitalization, punctuation, date and time, and more.
